Rainforest Of Borneo

The Borneo rainforest is estimated to be 140 million years, which makes it one of the oldest rainforest in the world. Half of the world’s timber comes from the rainforest of Borneo. What lies beneath these mist covered and thick dipterocarp forests are the many endangered and endemic species of Borneo. Tribal people of Borneo also rely on the forest for medicine and livelihood.
